Australian Stock Saddle … To be continued

I found an Australian Stock Saddle on marketplace earlier this week. It’s basically a cross between Western and English saddles; the desire being comfortable for long trail rides.

Cowboy was not as excited to try on the new saddle as much as I was to try it out! We ended up spending the evening working through his anxiety and disconcertment, of what I can only imagine, to reenact the famous mountain decent in The Man from Snowy River 😅

As a result, we didn’t do anything exciting because it was dark by the time he was willing to cooperate, or perhaps, to run out the clock and finish the day without a ride!
